“Games Without Borders” with Milenko Tepić were held yesterday in Novi Sad in the Maruk sports center!
Organized by the “Rhythm of Health” Association within the 4th Festival Sports for All Vojvodina. Teams consisting of high school students tested their knowledge and skills in games such as Hop-Stop, Together we are faster, Get out of the tunnel and others. The audience in the “Fun Corner” could enjoy the games prepared by Eurogames, the Association Sport for All Vojvodina and the Student Health Protection Institute, and all participants eventually received awards for fair play. Basketball player Milenko Tepić and the president of the Association, Dr. Tatjana Jezdimirović, opened the Games with the message of how important it is to do sports and thanked all fellow citizens for taking two hours that afternoon to do physical activity.
The teams consisted of students from Novi Sad high schools such as the Secondary Medical School “7. April”, Technical School “Pavle Savić”, School of Design “Bogdan Šuput”, and the victory was taken by the representatives of the Association of Sports for All Partizan 2. At the end of the Games, there was a mini competition for the best shooters of double and triple shots, led by Milenko Tepić and prof. Dr. Marko Stojanović, and the four best players won signed basketballs.
The team behind the Rhythm of Health Association promised similar events, and some of them are already being prepared and will be held in Liman Park.
Games Without Borders are part of the project “Let’s have a picnic” intended for young people, which the Rhythm Health Association is carrying out within the program Novi Sad – Youth Capital of Europe 2019.
